Single dorm rooms at Ivy House are ideal University of Florida students who want to live alone, yet want the social environment of the University of Florida dorms. The single rooms are newer, nicer, and larger than those in traditional University of Florida dorms like Springs Complex, Keys Complex, Lakeside, and Infinty Hall. Ivy House is the only all-female residence hall and is the closest dorm to sorority row.
At the Ivy House, each Single dorm room comes equipped with a closet, sink & mirror, bed set, desk set, window, mini-blinds, and pre-installed ceiling fans. Some rooms have pedestal sinks while others have cabinets with built-in sinks. All rooms include central a/c and plush carpeting. Bathrooms are located on the hall, shared with a few of the rooms next door. Luxury bathrooms come equipped with jetted Jacuzzi tubs, showers, and large, well-lit mirrors, and common areas & bathrooms are cleaned 7 days/week by a professional maid service. The Ivy House is female-only.

There are several sizes and configurations for the Single Dorm Rooms at Ivy House for University of Florida students. Students can choose amongst available single room styles. Placement into one of the larger Ivy House single rooms is slightly more expensive than being placed into one of the smaller single suites at Ivy House luxury dorm.

Living in the Ivy House was one of the best decisions I could have made my freshman year. I was worried about living off-campus but the proximity to campus, downtown, and the amenities that come with being in Ivy made it an incredible experience. I live in a single but I have made incredible friendships and would highly suggest Ivy to anyone looking for a home!

I’m a freshman here at UF and I have loved my time at the Ivy House. It’s so close to campus and all of my classes. The bus picks up right beside the building and the dorms here are so comfortable and cozy. Plus everyone’s super personable!
